The Saskatoon Aquarium Society (SAS) was founded in 1970 by a small group of aquarium hobbyists. They do so to share their experiences in a hobby they all enjoyed, get together and to learn from each other. The club has grown significantly over the years. Today our membership ranges between one hundred and one hundred twenty-five members. We hold regular monthly meetings on the last Sunday of each month. Our meetings consist of a auction, bowl show and occasionally presentations. It's a great chance to learn, socialize with other hobbyists and pick up some new fish!

The Saskatoon Aquarium Society is meeting Sunday, February 26th at 2pm at our new location at Faith River Church 2625 Preston Avenue South.

February 26th

The meeting will feature a presentation "Uruguary 2011", a collection trip made by Kevin Acton and Dwayne Hopper from their recent adventure collecting in Uruguary. Don't miss this talk, as it's sure to be super informative and fun! Nothing beats going to where our beloved fish come from and see them in their natural state.

February Bowl Show:

  • Betta Splendens
  • Killifish
  • Tropical Cats (no Corydoras or Brochis)
  • Favourite Plants

  • An auction will follow the presentation.  Treats are always welcome for the coffee break.
